Personal Statement
I deserve to graduate the 8th grade for may reasons. My first reason is because I have all seven of my goals. I have a PREP average of 114 and have an attendance rate of 98%. Also this year I have been a part of a anon-profit organization named Big Citizen Hub. So, I already have more than a 100 volunteer hours. More than 80 hours than the 20 needed. I have all 8 of my books and 100% in both my ELA and Math Study Island. I have a CCA of over 96% and passed all 3 of my writing exams. I always turn in my homework and projects in time. These are the reasons why I should promote. The college that I want to go to is John's Hopkins, because of their medical school.
Some things that I did to achieve my goal was to listen in class. Paying attention in class was and still is one of the most important things I did to get good grades. Doing homework was also important because I usually don't review my notes so doing homework sort of forces me to review for what I learned in class that day. Also, if you constantly do you homework everyday it shows the teacher that you are someone responsible.
An accomplishment that was important to me this year is getting an A+ in my ELA class. This is a very important accomplishment for me is because it was my first time getting an A+ in ELA in middle school. An experience that was very important to me was when I heard the story of three people who suffered through homelessness. They explained how they have mental illnesses and how some of them were addicted to drugs. This made me realize that if I grow up and become a psychiatrist I should help people like them.
